THE HORSE LADY
THE WARM-HEARTED HORSE LADY
Proud individualistic and restless, she has a natural self-assuraance and a unique confidence that comes from a genuine belief in her own self-worth. Hers is the ultimate free spirit that should neither be broken nor confined. In any case, this woman born of the Horse year can never be shackled either by conventions or any man-made rules she deems stupid or unjust. She is nobody's lackey but she is amazingly warm-hearted and surprisingly, she suffers fools gladly.

Pursuing her independent nature she will either indulge her thirst for adventure by exploring new things in a far away places, or she will travel to distant lands just for the sake of traveling, and in search of new experiences.
She will be restless if not allowed to pursue this wanderlust. She also needs to be surrounded by activity, and enjoys championing causes. It is the yang chi that keeps her going, but she also gets bored easily and often loses interest after a short time. So she cannot really be depended upon to complete everything she takes on..
The Horse lady is usually highly principled. Lying and dishonesty are anathema to her. She is neither a fraud nor is she boastful, going about her life with little fanfare. But she will never compromise, always standing up for what she believes in. She can thus come across idealistic. She does not require the trimmings and outward shows of success, and is disdainful of lesser mortals who seem to derive their self-worth from material accessories. More than being liked, she prefers respect. She is bossy, insisting on always doing things her way but she is seldom autocratic. Nor is she intolerant of other people's viewpoints. THere is always room for discussion.
But once decided, she rarely changes her min, and can thus be dogmatic. Yet her unusual strength, her perseverance in any given situation, and her interest when confronted with challenge often allow her to get her own way with people.
The Horse lady is difficult to love, and hard to satisfy. Her emotional make up is complex and unstable. She tends to be hyper sensitive, being easily offended. Any threat to her independence causes her to bristle. She also lacks a sense of fun, and is intolerant of those deemed weak or superficial. She can be outspoken and argumentative. Be prepared to let her talk while you listen. Make her respect you and your views and she will quieten down. Once she respects and loves you and sees you as someone strong and indomitable, she will buckle down and be a great wife! She is worth getting to know and loving her can be an exquisite lifetime experience.
THE EARTH FEMALE HORSE
She is far more good-natured and easy going than her fire sister. She is also less impetuous, less hotheaded, less selfish, less excitable and definitely far more stable. The earth element adds a dose of pragmatism and she knows how to accept authority and play the game according to the rules.
She is sensible and faithful and will make those who love her a faithful partner. She loves the country lifestyle and she is most comfortable when she is given the task of being a home maker, so she makes the right person a very good mate indeed. But don't forget she's still a Horse and if you want her, appeal to her sense of adventure. There is still the free spirit within her. No use trying to pin her down - for the Horse is and always will be at heart a free spirit. But she is also kind and sensitive and succumbs easily to emotional appeals. She can be a sentimental weakling.
OUTLOOK & LUCK OF THE HORSE IN 2008
THe Horse born is set for a challenging year ahead. The contrast is particularly stark after coming out of a good year in 2007, but while obstacles that get in your way are frustrating and sometimes upsetting, they are not insurmountable. Because you know there are challenges ahead, try not to steer too far from the well-trodden path and avoid taking risks. For example if you are the breadwinner, don't give up a secure job with steady income to go in pursuit of a dream. Think with your head not your heart. While you can succeed, big success is likely to come only later. Look on this year as a time to lie low, investing your time in learning and observing. Keep your eyes open and your mind alert to all that's going on because 2008 is in many ways a year of contradictions.
Astrologically you are weak because not only you in direct conflict with the Grand Duke Jupiter (Tai Sui), you also suffer from Misfortune Star in your sector, as well as the Three Killings.
